Our "spring break"

So we really don't get a spring break, but most of the schools around here celebrated spring break this past week; we spent it in the hospital. We too little man to a stomach specialist monday morning, and he had lost 4 more ounces. He was down to 10 pounds 7 ounces. As soon as we were done with our appointment we took him straight to the local children's hospital.

The doctors ran test after test; they finally decided he was labeled failure to thrive. Being 5 1/2 months old being as small as he was, most of his body/brain stopped growing. We had blood tests, urine tests, xrays, ct scan, mri, sweat chlorine test and many others done. He is now on 2 different medicines for who knows how long. High calorie formula and rice cereal mixed in. He needs to put on weight so we can get him strong and get his brain focused on developing. As of right now he will be several months behind. We are hoping by 2 years old he will be caught up. It hurts my heart, and makes me so frustrated to think that I could have caught this sooner and he wouldnt be behind at all!

The princess came up one day and played on the playgrounds they have all over. She was so excited to see mommy, daddy and brother. She got to stay with grandma and grandpa all week.

By the end of the week he was in such a good mood, and a completely different baby tempermentally. We are so excited for him to gain weight and get better.
